For convertibles, 4x4's, 8 seaters, limousines, coupes', off roaders, quad bikes, scooters, even boats and jet skis, you can click away and make the holiday this year the best ever. There are so many different cars to choose from, pick the one that suits your budget and your needs. Going into the mountains, opt for a 4x4, if you have a big family or lots of friends, go for an 8 seater or even a mini bus. Brought along a date to impress, a lovely smooth convertible may be the start of a fantastic vacation if you can force yourself out of the bed. You can even have a limousine arranged to pick you or someone else up and have them brought to your venue of choice. This can all be done cheaper than you think, and it's easy, just use your finger and click away, if one company cannot get what you want, others will. Don't settle for second best, get what you want, not what they say you can have. Don't forget to ask for extras like baby seats, bolster cushions, bike racks etc if needed.

Warning, obey the law

The first thing you should know is that they drive on the right hand side of the road. The police in Spain are extremely nice and very child friendly, but don't go to far with them, as they do carry guns. When approaching a stop sign, STOP, don't just slow down, if the police see you, it could be a 90 euros fine. The police issue on the spot fines in Spain, you have to pay them or go to a bank and get the money there and then. At all times whilst driving you must carry with you your passport, driving license and any necessary visa's. Your car must have 2 warning triangles, a luminous vest for each passenger, and a spare set of bulbs. Even on holiday, you can receive parking tickets or be towed away, be careful where you park. If you have a hire car and receive a parking ticket, pay it, go to the local police station, if not, it will be taken from your credit card at a later date and possible charges will be added to it. Spain now has a growing number of speed cameras, although there are also many check points where the police have speed traps, stick to the limit, you will receive a fine and penalty points which also apply in the whole of Europe.  Do not drink and drive, there will be more check points in the peak season, it is not worth it, even for a short journey, take a taxi. The drinking and driving law applies throughout Europe, you could be fined or imprisoned. Enjoy the holiday, do not end up in court or the hospital.
